Today's Mission: A Haircut

Gavin needed a haircut badly.  In fact, he always seems in need of one.  I didn't feel like driving to the kid's salon place in Franklin and paying $17 again, so this time we went to the neighborhood barber shop.  They did a great job, and now Gavin knows all about lolli-pops.  The unwrapped lolli-pop was in his chubby little hand before I could object.  By the end of the haircut, Gavin was a sticky and hairy mess, but he was happy.  He screamed during his last haircut, so we may try this lolli-pop trick again.

What a handsome boy!! He is a doll! I'm sure that the folks at the barber shop look forward to him coming back since EVERYONE LOVES GAVIN!! Give him a hug from me! See you Monday.

You should cut his hair yourself. As straight as his hair is, it couldn't be that hard. Noelle has still never had a haircut...and the sad thing is she's over two and her hair is only a little longer than Gavin's.

@Andy - I cut his hair once and it was really hard. With a toddler I expected as much... he just fidgeted and moved all over the place making it hard to get scissors on his hair and not his head. I was trying to be real careful too. Even professionals have a hard time with it, but kids are kids. I may give it another go in the future.
